I'm building a boutique relocation advisory business and looking for a social media manager to handle content repurposing on an ongoing basis.

Here's how my content flow works: each week I write one long-form piece and film one video. From those two source materials, I need content edited adapted and optimized for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Substack, Threads, and X. Typically, that means three Instagram reels plus carousels and YouTube Shorts posts per week, one LinkedIn and Substack post, and TikTok reposts of the short-form video cuts. With the goal of having an everyday posting schedule.

Throughout the week I may also send additional footage or written thoughts that could be turned into supplementary posts.

One question before anything else: do you work on a rolling basis with your clients — receiving and turning around content as it comes in throughout the week — or do you require all materials upfront at the start of each cycle?

That workflow detail matters a lot to me, so I want to make sure we'd be a good fit before moving forward. Happy to share more about the brand and content style if this sounds like something you do well.

For context, this is a brand-new business. I’ve created the social media accounts, but there’s currently no active presence yet. There is only one introductory post on the page right now. My goal is to build a consistent content workflow that helps establish the page, maintain regular posting, and gradually attract followers.

I also currently have someone working on my brand kit, so I should soon have the visual brand elements we can use for social media content.

In the meantime, it would be great to talk through what kind of strategy you would recommend to get things moving from zero.
